Memorial Day is a time to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation. It can also be a challenging day for many veterans who experienced the loss of a brother or sister in arms. Our panel of experts have worked to support veterans in our community, and they will discuss: • Methods of communication to foster a trusting environment • Tools that can be used to ease discomfort • Ways to be present, show empathy, and act with compassion to bring peace to a veteran struggling with past trauma, especially at end of life *Parking is available at 2611 NE Courtney Drive in Bend.
