What is Queen of Hearts?

Partners In Care has begun a fundraising campaign called Queen of Hearts to run through 2025 and into 2026. This campaign is centered around the goal of 1,000 women* donating $1,000 each to begin an endowment for Hospice House.

We appreciate the generosity of all donors who supported the building of the new Hospice House during our capital campaign. We would not be at this new phase without the generosity of our community to build such a beautiful new Hospice House to serve more patients and families east of the Cascades.

Creating an endowment for Hospice House is the next step to continue serving Central Oregon today and for many years to come.

After the $1,000,000 goal is reached, can I still donate to the endowment?
Yes! This endowment will always be an available donation option, and will continue to grow in the years to come.

Why do we want to have an endowment for Hospice House?
An endowment for Hospice House ensures financial stability for the House. While the capital campaign secured funding to build the house, this is a campaign to secure the life of the house. There will be items within the house that will need to be replaced over time, there is a natural depreciation, and most importantly, creating an endowment provides financial security.
How does someone become a Queen of Hearts?
Donating $84 a month for 12 months, make a one-time donation of $1,000, get a group of 10 friends together to donate $100 each to fulfill the $1,000 commitment, we encourage creativity to meet the lofty goal.
Can I become a Queen of Hearts in memory of a loved one?
Absolutely! Upon your donation, please let the Philanthropy department at Partners In Care know the name of your loved one.
Can men be a part of this Queen of Hearts campaign?
YES! Anyone can become a part of the Queen of Hearts campaign by donating in honor of a special woman in their life.
